The Cricket Derbyshire Foundation has launched the Monday Mates project, funded through the Severn Trent Community Fund, which will focus on supporting those with dementia.

A café open to all, especially those affected by dementia and their carers running on the first Monday of every month starting on Monday 5 June, 10am - 12pm.

The aim of the café is to support wellbeing by reducing social isolation and loneliness, providing peer support for those living with Dementia and their carers. We also hope to increase physical activity and help to reduce cognitive and mobility problems through adapted exercise activities during the two hours, such as chair aerobics and seated cricket.
