Another amazing summer holiday activity!
Huge thanks to Rock Steady for once again leading our fantastic Young Carers to form 2 new bands.
12 Young Carers learned new skills and had a go on a range of instruments, putting together songs for an afternoon performance at Marpool United Reformed Church in Heanor. They had a great day, with comments such as:
‘It was so much fun, the time went so quick’
‘It’s made me want to get a keyboard and learn to do it!’
‘I loved it, it’s made me want to ask my mum for a drum set. Can we do this again?’ (Sorry mum!)
