Bridgit Care is a free online support platform that is packed with features to support Carers.
Bridgit Care continuously updates its information, making it easier for Carers to find relevant answers, plans, Carer discounts, emergency tips to prepare for ‘what if’ moments, it also connects you with local resources such as events or services that are nearby and Carer Friendly. This also includes activities that can be supportive.
Many Carers struggle to find the support they need to balance their responsibilities. In addition to our services, including our online resources, website and helpline... Bridgit Care will be an additional support for Carers, that won’t replace our services, but instead will act as an extra area Carers can use to get help.
Bridgit Care complements our existing support by helping Carers reduce stress, manage their caregiving duties, providing money advice, giving 24/7 support, offering wellbeing resources, regular information, including local services and events.

Bridgit Care helps our organisation reach more Carers, including those who may be hidden, by offering immediate online support, day or night.
At the same time, it enables our staff to provide more personal, one-to-one support alongside this.

Since launching Bridgit Care, how has it helped people who look after someone?
In early stages of its launch period, Bridgit Care has supported a wide range of Carers across Derbyshire, offering flexible access to help whenever it is needed, day or night. During the early stages, within a short time frame period, nearly 1000 Carers have already used the platform, with a large amount choosing to access support outside of usual helpline and office hours.
This highlights the importance of having support available at any time.
Carers of all ages are using Bridgit Care, showing that the platform is accessible and useful for people in different circumstances. It is also being used across communities throughout Derbyshire, and even by some Carers living outside the area, reflecting the flexibility of online support.
