This week, the Hconnect team (Hospital Discharge Liaison Project) visited the Fenton Ward at Cavendish Hospital, Buxton to present the Hospital Carer Friendly Award.
Chief Executive Helen Weston, Engagement Worker Tina Curran, and Hospital Liaison Worker Lesley Hodkin were delighted to present the award to Ward Manager Kate Casey and her fantastic team.
Helen thanked the ward for their dedication to supporting Carers - from completing Carer Awareness Training to hosting information stands and welcoming coffee mornings for Carers on the ward. ☕💙
Kate and the Hconnect team have even more events planned in the coming months to continue strengthening support for Carers.
